Mobile phone speakers are powerful, yet lack body to enable various frequencies to vibrate freely. the Wooden Sound System elevates specially mid range frequencies which is mainly human voice, and piano and guitar like melody parts of the songs.
As well as bringing hard to hear low, mid low and high frequencies. Which contributes to brighten bass parts as well as bringing up high frequencies like hi-hats and lead synth transients.
Tested with a stable 1kHz sine wave played on iPhone 6s with and without the Wooden Sound System, and moved away from the directional mic.
